From August 1 - About The Magnitude...

I thought I'd take a few moments out from the NY Dolls transcriberin' put this out there. In case you missed it or weren't sure when you heard it the first time, here's the ponder flow that sneaked out late in the show:

Steve: Do you understand? Do you fully comprehend the magnificence of the magnitude of all things magnetic? No, of course you don’t. You’re all buffoons, jack’napes and incubickin-slingers and things. I don’t even know what’s going on myself. My hands just walk and do the talkin’. Everyone’s confused. But it’s okay because in this day and age, we’re all dying and it’s not long to go before the magma of the magnetic minefields will explode in our faces and we will all turn into magic dust. And when the magic dust falls and settles, we will start a new world. And from that new world, there will be two people: there will be good people and horrible people. That’s just the way it goes. So if we do actually dissolve into some kind of atomic wasteland, there might be one plant that survives and from that plant will come…a cherry. And from that cherry, a little cockroach will eat it and that little cockroach will turn into a human being and a monkey will turn into a magnetic…(aside) um, what are the guys with the big foreheads…

Mr. Shovel: Cro-Magnon.

Steve: …Crag-Magnolia Man! And the Magnolia Man will find a bird and he will give her five hundred dollars and say, “Can I have sex with you and we will start a civilization?” and they will have it off and we will all start again and it will be all back to square one in no time. I’m going to visit The Duke now, you bet your candy asses. Thanks for listening.
